Filter Socks

Versatile treatment deployment.

Our filter socks are filled with our filter media for removing heavy metals including zinc and copper.  The filter socks have also been shown to reduce both TSS and Turbidity.

The standard socks are 3', 6' and 10' long in an 8" tube that is filled roughly 75% full with BiocharBASIC™.

Custom lengths, tube size (8", 12" or 18" diameter), filter medias and fill percentages are also available.

Our filter socks can be used in many different ways.  They can be used to treat sheet flow or placed in vaults or containers or in swales, anywhere the need for the ease of placement and removal in water flow.  When used on a hard surface, they are short and wide to give the most contact of the media as possible.

The sock material is a high flow material that is designed to hold up to UV and extended contact with water and contours very well to each surface giving more opportunity for the water to flow through the treatment media for the best results.
